Title	A story of gravitational blocks and QFT indices
Abstract	In this talk I will introduce a unified framework, and in particular an extremization principle, for the entropy of supersymmetric AdS black objects in gauged supergravity. This is based on the gravitational blocks that are directly related to holomorphic blocks appearing in the factorization of supersymmetric partition functions. If time permits, in the second part of my talk, I will derive the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of the rotating magnetically charged AdS(5) x S^5 black strings from a microscopic counting of states in a holographically dual field theory.
