Title | Collider test of the Lepton portal to sub-GeV dark matter |
Abstract | We revisit the light lepton portal dark matter (DM) model [1] in terms of collider physics. In this simple scenario the standard model is reinforced by an additional inert Higgs doublet and light vector like lepton. In order to evade the stringent constraint from the DM direct detection experiments, the fermion DM mass should be less than 10 GeV in the scenario. The model requires an additional light scalar for the relic abundance and the mass differences among additional scalars are controlled by the vacuum expectation value times potential couplings. Therefore the collider physics is well motivated to probe the scenario. The discovery potential at the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) is discussed. [1]:2011.04788 |
