Title Giant Gravitons and Volume Minimisation
Abstract The giant graviton expansion of the superconformal index of field theories and the master volume in volume minimization exhibit notable similarities. In our recent work, we establish a precise correspondence between these two concepts. In this talk, I will explain this correspondence and discuss its consistency with the simple sum reduction and the parallelogram ansatz.
