Title Black hole as a bound state of strings
Abstract It is expected that black holes turn into strings around the end of black hole evaporation. After the transition, strings would form a bound state by the self-gravitation. Horowitz and Polchinski formulated a model of self-gravitating strings by using winding strings wrapping on the Euclidean time circle. We approximate winding strings by a perfect fluid and solve the Einstein equation taking non-linear effects of gravity into account. Then, black holes at low temperatures can also be described as bound states of strings. Our solution approximates the Schwarzschild black hole though the geometry has no horizon.
