Title Symmetries and Strings of Adjoint QCD2
Abstract In this talk I will talk about topological defects in 1+1-dimensional QCD with adjoint fermions. In particular, the deconfinement of the theory at the zero temperature when fermions are massless can be explained by such defects, regarded as a generalized symmetry which is sometimes called categorical symmetry. Further, the tension of the bound states of the confining string when fermions have small masses are calculated, exposing a curious sine form.
