Title	Modular flavor symmetry
Abstract	The origin of flavor structure is one of important mysteriesin particle physics.That may be originated from geometrical symmetriesof compact space in superstring theory.A new approach has been studied for these two years.That is the modular flavor symmetry.In this seminar, we discuss the modular symmetryin four dimensional low energy effective field theory,derived from superstring theory.The zero-modes transform under the modular symmetry.That is the flavor symmetry.Also, from the viewpoint of bottom-up approach,some model building with modular flavor symmetrieswill be shown.
