Title Aspects of Holographic Entanglement of Purification Conjecture
Abstract Quantum information-theoretic techniques are believed to play a prominent role in understanding holographic principle. In this talk we review the conjectured holographic formula for the entanglement of purification, that the entanglement of purification - an information measure of correlation - is equivalent to the minimal cross section of the entanglement wedge in the AdS/CFT correspondence. This conjecture provides a generalization of the famous Ryu-Takayanagi formula, allowing one to connect quantum entanglement with an area of geometry for a class of mixed states. We also comment on recent development of this topic such as a generalization for multipartite states or analytical/numerical attempts to compute the entanglement of purification in field theory.
